Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

Hi guys! Just opened the box of gorgeous flowers that I ordered and I am excited to get them into the ground once I’m able. Haven’t ordered for a couple of years and not because of you. I’ve been out of the world and I’m now back in it. Ready to plant! Noticed a lot of bad reviews coming in and most were about shipping. Now I know why! Strongly recommend using a stamp for up arrows and red stickers for live plants/handle with Care! These guys were tossed around like popcorn; dirt everywhere dirt falling out of Potts exposed roots, you name it. Love You guys and hope you continue great work! Please heed my recommendation!

Everything I have ordered from Great Garden Plants has arrived in great condition, healthy and ready to be planted. This bee balm is already blooming flowers as it gets settled into its new home.
Arrived as scheduled and looks very healthy. Will order again.
Based on price, I expected full, beautiful plants. What I received were thin, straggly plants that wouldnt have been purchased had I seen them at the store. Very disappointed.
